Großschanze in Lahti: Granerud and Kobayashi Siegen

Geiger jumped on Sunday 125.5 and 123.5 meters and landed a day after third in the team in fifth place. In direct duel with the shared Japanese day winner Ryoyu Kobayashi, Geiger has a lot of points. Kobayashi and Norwegian Halvor Egner Granerud won the same. Austria's Stefan force became third.

Behind Geiger also made it Markus Eisenbichler (8.), Stephan Leyhe (16th), Constantin Schmid (19th) and Severin Friend (23rd) in the World Cup points. There is no break for the ski jumpers: Already next week the RAW-AIR tour begins in Norway, followed by the ski flight World Cup in the Norwegian Vikersund. Geiger will start at the world's largest facility as defending champion.

Geiger, which ultimately consumed three meters to the pedestal, goes with 1279 points as a World Cup second behind Kobayashi (1322) into the season finale. In the seven outstanding competitions in Lillehammer, Oslo, Oberstdorf and Planica, the fight for the overall classification will continue longer.
