LOL's new item is banning players permanently by accident

Before introducing changes in official League of Legends servers Riot Games uses the public test server, better known as BE. In it are the news that will arrive in the next updates and a very weird bug is happening in the current version of the server, specifically with an item that will debut during preseason 13.

People The item in question is called Heretical and is designed for tanks, but is causing great damage so far. Different community members have been saying that they had their LOL accounts permanently banned after using the BE item.

Riot works in the bug solution that 'banned' lol players

It all started when Rossboomsocks wrote on his Twitter: Hi @riotsupport I and everyone with BE with today we were permanently banned for any reason. I ask for help, please. Currently, the content creator has about 800,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Apparently Riot Games is already aware of the problem and trying to correct it. The bug has already affected a lot of people on the test server and in this Reddit post in which the error is discussed, some players have shared answers from the support team trying to help them. Thanks for contacting us and my sincere excuses. [...] We are aware of the situation and working hard to fix it, says one employee.

Thus, we are seeing in practice the main reason why preseason and other changes are initially introduced in BE and only then reach the official server of MOB. While this kind of problem happens on the test server, apologizing and trying to correct the error is enough, but if it happened in the real game, Riot would surely have its greatest headache of all time.

Remember that LOL season 12 ends on November 14 (at 11:59 pm. However, for the Master, Grand Master and Challenging Tiers the end will be at 11:45 pm). Two days later, on November 16, preseason 13 arrives officially, inging a series changes such as: top and jungle improvements, communication changes and new items.
